Some web brains have thoughts associated with links to web pages. These links appear in the lower panel with a title and the URL.
Some web brains show full web pages in the lower panel. (Wikipedia pages are quite common in the webbrains I've seen). So a link presumably exists but, instead of showing the link properties, the link is followed so the target page is shown.
What do I need to do in my Brain as I build it to create some thoughts that display links and some that follow the links automatically in order to display the target pages please?
Thanks
Kevin

kilucas, Thank you for posting. At present only Wikipedia pages display automatically below. In the future, a Brain setting will allow you to choose whether to display all pages automatically in this manner.
Best regards, Moe

Ah, thanks. I'll look forward to the change that let's us customise this - some of my links would even be to MediaWiki implementations but just not the big one at WikiPedia.
Many thanks Kevin |

Has there been any progress on this? I don't understand why sometimes the linked page is displayed below in Webbrain and sometimes it isn't. When embedding the webbrain in an iframe, the code gives one the option of having links open automatically.. Not being able to do this with Webbrain definitely lowers its desirability. |

WebBrain is still in beta. Many improvements are planned, but you'll have to be patient. __________________ Regards,

Two and a half years ago this was said:

Does this remain something "in the future"? |

Hello,
A new release of WebBrain is now running. It contains various fixes and a new feature to automatically display select content:
Automatic display of single attachments If a single attachment is added to a thought without any notes, the attachment will be displayed in the content area automatically if it is one of the following types of URLs: YouTube video Vimeo video Image Wikipedia page
To make a video appear automatically in the content area, simply add a link to the video as an attachment. This only works for YouTube and Vimeo links.
Images and Wikipedia pages will also be auto featured.
Note: if content has been added to the notes area using and <iframe> or <embed> tag, this is still NOT supported as it presents a security risk.
This works on existing content as well as any new content that is added.
Enjoy.

Is there any intention ever to have webpages that are linked to display in the lower panel, or will this feature remain exclusive to Sitebrain? |

| Chris,
Right now, the display of webpages in the notes section is exclusive to the following types of URLs:
YouTube video Vimeo video Image Wikipedia page
At this time, I have no additional information regarding the future enhancements to website display within WebBrain.
