I drag & drop quite a number of links into the brain to create a new thought from them. I also have to be careful of RSI as my daily work involves a lot of computer use.

Is there a way to add a URL as a new thought using the keyboard? (using TB9)

Do you mean you have copied a url and want to paste as a new thought? Or paste into the selected thought?

You said add a new URL without using the keyboard, the only way I know of to do this is drag & drop.

With the Keyboard, go to Preferences > Keyboard and under the Edit menu there is a Paste as New Thought function. This will create a new thought based on the URL in your clipboard.
Or Paste on Item will add the URL to the active thought.
If you use automation/macro software, this comes in handy... [wink]
