Would love to be able to record audio notes straight onto a thought and for it to be stored locally in the brain or in a specific folder. I find this feature extremely useful in Omnioutliner because some thoughts only come to me out loud, and demand to be articulated with the spoken voice.

In OmniOutliner on Mac OS X it looks like they integrated Quicktime's recording capabilities into the program.

FYI, Apple is no longer supporting QuickTime.

It has serious malware vulnerabilities and should be uninstalled from all computers immediately:

I believe that is specifically for Windows only though.
