Hi,

I have a couple of questions on the parallell beta program with versions 4.2 and 4.3.

1) Will 4.3.x get new features that is not included in 4.2?
2) Will there be released new 4.2.x betas regularily, or will there most focus on 4.3.x?
3) Is there a roadmap for what new features that are prioritized in 4.2.x, as there is at the experimental site(the bullet list)?

Hello,

If all goes well in the 4.3 release (as it has been so far), the 4.2 release will be ended and 4.3 will take over.

If we experience a major problem in the 4.3 release, all updates and fixes made there-in will be migrated back into the 4.2 release where possible and the 4.3 release will be ended.

Until one of the above two paths is decided on, there will be mostly bug fix releases on both the 4.2 and 4.3 brances on an as needed basis.

Generally speaking, we do not pre-announce features until they are actually available as part of a beta release, so there is no roadmap so to speak.

Regards,
-Harlan
