Apologies if this has been answered earlier (newbie alert) but I wonder if relationships (links? Sorry: so new I'm unfamiliar with terminology) can be computable.  In other words, can users "exercise" relationships that have quantitative links in ways that allow What If? exploration of complex topics?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum.

PB has no "intelligent" links in the manner you describe. If you search the forum you will find several posts proposing improvements to the way in which links are currently implemented, such as making them directional. For the time being you will have to create the relationships you require between nodes ("Thoughts") by using link Types (Core and Pro Editions), or by inserting an additional thought between two thoughts to carry the extra information needed about the relationship. Remember that PB allows only one direct link (of any kind - parent, child or jump) between any two thoughts.

Strangely Links is the one main component in PB that seems not to have any updates since 2007. These suggestions and discussions have been going on since then, ref. to the thread below, and it seems like this is not prioritized in the development road map.

Just a note that both of the above replies pertain to PersonalBrain, not EKP. If your question is about the EKP product you may want to email support, as the answer could be different.

Yes, that's right. This thread should maybe be moved over to the How To section.

Is there anyone who knows how much more link functionality there is in BrainEKP compared to PB, or is it only the link directionality that is the difference?
