Most recent release 8.0.2.1 freezes when dragging a link into the brain that already exists. The dialog alerting the user and offering them a choice of adding or canceling appears, but the app freezes and requires a force quit. No data is lost, but it's frustrating.

Are you able to click the Yes/No prompt? If so, do you get the second prompt to activate the thought? Can you click that? If/When the second prompt goes, and t's frozen, if you cmd+tab to a different program and then back to TheBrain will it accept interactions then?
Also, which version of OS X are you using?
macOS 10.12.5
TheBrain 9.0.207

This is a known issue that has been reported as a bug and our engineers are looking into a fix.

Some news about this bug?
Is really annoying and disrupt the normal workflow, if you need to quit and open te brain every time you drag a link or a file (with me also happens when you drag and drop an attachment).

Thanks, Patrick, any more word? It's driving me a little crazy because it requires some dexterity in quitting the app.

Still no update. As I mentioned, it has been brought to our engineer's direct attention and they are looking into a fix. When a fix is available, an update will be available and as long as you have the 'Check for major updates on startup' option checked in your Preferences for TheBrain, you will be notified as soon as this issue has been pushed via an update. You can also see our Release Notes for each update HERE.

This issue is fixed in the 8.0.2.2 release, out now. FYI, it was caused by changes introduced by El Capitan. Thanks for your patience.

-Harlan
