When I double-click on the line linking two items, I can add descriptive text explaining why the two items are linked, but I DON'T want the text to always show. I have a ton of links and it can get to be quite a mess. There does not appear to be an option to hide this text in the Settings.

How can I hide the link text so it only appears when I hover over the line (the way nodes do)? (v8 btw)

TIA

Sorry, I don't believe this is currently possible. Would make a good enhancement request though. 😊

+1 for the option of showing link label on hover (only)

FYI, there's a similar, but slightly different, request submitted last year.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I've documented the feature request.
