Patrick,

in your post (http://forums.thebrain.com/post/TB7032-unbelievable-long-processing-5777719) you write:

The reason this fix was implemented is for those users that were having very long sync times and issues. This process will remove all of the redundant information that was being synced and causing syncs to take longer than usual. If you have a large Brain and/or a lot of this redundant information existing in your Brain, this will cause the process to take longer. This process will only run once.

As I never synced a brain, I wonder, how this 'redundant information' got into the brain? And what can I do to prevent it in the future?
