Just an observation:

Now that PB4 supports more attachments, I started to rearrange thoughts and group attachments that belong together under one thought. As a result the average number of links per file went up from 1.39 to 1.68 today. As the thoughts become more connected I found that my brain becomes more functional. It has become quicker to navigate and I see more associations.

Interesting observation. I actually refer to the phenomenon of increased linking as PB 'liquidity' increasing the speed and ease of retrieval of information. Perhaps you might find the questions raised by Shiko on attachment management and discussion here of interest also:
