Situation: Your try to import a text outline that contains notes (text beginning with '-').
Which thoughts are the notes assigned  to?

I think, there's an inconsistent handling of the indentation. Sometimes (at root level) notes are assigned to the root level. Sometimes indented notes are assigned to the root level too. A note should be attached to the thought immediatley preceding it at the same thought level. But: If there is a parent thought, the note is assigned to this parent thought (one level higher!) regardless of preceding thoughts on the same level (see attached example file).

The sample file (directly and as an attachement); alle indentation is with tabs; 4 spaces = 1 tab):

RootOfImportTest
    Header-1
    - That note should go under Header-1.
        Subheader-1.1
            - That's a note für Subheader-1.1.
        Subheader-1.2
        - That should be a note for Subheader-1.2, but it goes under Header-1.
    Header-2
        Subheader-2.1
            - Thats a note. It should go under Subheader-2.1.
        Subheader-2.2
        Subheader-2.3
        Subheader-2.4
    Header-3

Here is another example (3 files, all indentation with tabs, 4 spaces = 1 tab):

Your original:
-----
Steve Jobs | Founder of Apple
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs
-" I want to put a ding in the universe."

-----

This puts the note under 'Root of SteveJobs2', not under 'Steve jobs' as it should:
-----
Root of SteveJobs2
Steve Jobs | Founder of Apple
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs
-" I want to put a ding in the universe."
-----

For the note, this one works correctly, but needs one tab more for the note. But the link is under 'Root of SteveJobs2':
-----
Root of SteveJobs3
Steve Jobs | Founder of Apple
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Jobs
-" I want to put a ding in the universe."
-----
But during import, the second and third file give warnings about the file not being formatted correctly. Why, I don't understand...

You need to provide a tab on the next line after "Steve Jobs | Founder of Apple" for the URL to be assigned to the Steve Jobs Thought. The same needs to be done for the Note. The original release notes shows this.

Thanks,
Moe

Ugh, sorry, that was my fault, it dropped the tab when I pasted it in from the .pdf and I didn't catch it. Fixed on the original thread now.
