The latest release, 9.1.10, is macOS specific and contains a major change that should result in a performance boost. Please let us know if you experience any difficulties with this build as it is a significant alteration that we would like to gather feedback on quickly.

This new release also include support for "force touch", allowing those of you who use newer MacBooks with trackpads to press harder on thoughts/links to open the properties up.

MacBook Pro mid-2017 15" on High Sierra

The force-touch feature does not work in 9.1.10.   Yes, it is activated in System Preferences > Trackpad.   Yes, force touch works fine in other apps.   Does nothing in TheBrain.

Thanks for the feedback Andreas. Great to hear.

Korm, re: Force-touch: Just tested it and it seems to be working fine on my mac, which is nearly the same as yours...

To use it, press hard on a thought/link, then release. It will not do anything if you move the cursor too much while you are pressing - perhaps that is the problem?

The Apple wireless mouse seems to interfere at times with force touch.
