is there something wrong with the PB website and Firefox.  Every time I go to http://www.thebrain.com home page, I get an error msg as shown in the attachment.

The site works fine within IE7.

And, you have javascript enabled?   I use FireFox and have no problems.

Yes - javascript is enabled.  To be more precise, I am using Firefox now to access the forum's page, but I cannot access the home page of http://www.thebrain.com.

Can you check your Firefox error console and see if it shows anything? (Tools > Error Console > Clear, then go to thebrain.com and see if anything shows up) Thanks.

Harlan,

Here's the FF error console.  I first cleared it and then tried to enter thebrain.com again.  Still the same problem.

That's really strange. The error indicates that some of the Javascript is not downloading. Anyone else seen this problem?

What version of Firefox are you running? Do you have any Firefox extensions installed?

Even more strange:  Today I received an update to FF - version 2.0.0.5.  It installed fine but gave me an error message that the current version of Java plug-in was not compatible with the latest FF release - so it did not install the java plug-in.

So guess what.  When I went to run the PB home page, everything loaded just fine.  There must of been some quirk in the java plug-in installed with FF.
