I find the Cmd+N shortcut "Keyboard focus to notes" useful because it shows the notes pane.

I really wish it was a toggle so that, when focused on the Notes pane, Cmd+N would hide it again.

It bugs me that I have to mess with the arrows using the mouse or try and wrangle it with the (I find) very confusing splitter control options.

Matt,

I'll document for further review. Have you tried using Cmd+S to move back to Search and the plex?  But you are looking to hide the Notes, correct?  The Splitter Left/Splitter Right keyboard shortcuts can do this, but we'll review the toggle option.

Thank you,
Matt

This would severely mess up my workflow as I have the notes showing permanently and use cmd+n to move focus to them. This would effectively cause the notes to hide.

So so maybe a new accelerator, not changing the functionality of the existing one.

Yes I want to hide the notes. I find the splitter controls confusing to use at best.
