When I would like to use TheBrain on my Android Smartphone, Tablet and Chromebook, as I see I have to use the mobile version or WebBrain with the limited feature set, but because I want to sync between the devices I have to pay full price?? I have organized me with the Google ecosystem and the rest all in the cloud. So I do not need a Windows PC or Mac for my purpose, like I think a lot of people, too.

Is this right?

GerSch,

That is correct: if you want to use the Pro features of TheBrain on any supported platform, you will need a Pro license. For syncing with TheBrain Cloud, you will need a cloud service subscription. We associate your Pro license with your email address, so that it is easy to sign in on multiple devices regardless of OS.

You should create a "Lite"-plan for a lower price, with the feature set of Mobile/Web with the possibility to sync between the devices. Even younger people have no Windows or Mac PC, they have a smartphone, may be a Tablet... All these potential customers you will never get into the big TheBrain-family! :-(

GerSch,

Thank you for the suggestion. As with your other suggestion about TeamBrain monthly pricing , I will bring up a "Lite" plan with our marketing team.

A few months later what did the market team say? There are millions of potential TB-users who are only working with smartphone, Tablet or Chromebook, organizing all there stuff online!!!!!!

No pricing changes are being planned at this time.  Also, I'm not sure if I'm reading your original request correctly.  If you are ONLY going to be using your Brain on your mobile device and web client, you can do this with a free license.  If you will not need to sync to a Windows machine or macOS in the desktop app, the free version may have all the features/capabilities you would need if you are only adding notes and linking to web based content.

Thanks,
Matt

Same here for me..... I'm gonna make the switch tot chromebook  and think i have to leave thebrain . Posted here:

I think thebrain should focus on webversion: that's usable on every system!!

In the past i have suggested that . Webapp should have :
-calendar
-easier capturing info into the brain
-embedded file view
- import export (copy / paste  from outln/ excel to webbrain.....like in thebrain for windows)
- let thebrain webapp be authorized to use my google account and i can look up contacts and even quickly add all my contacts as thoughts, show my calendar appointments as thoughts (under a parent thought for every calendar) so that i can link other thoughts .......

Than it would become an interactive brain without all the copying pasting etc.

just dreaming.......
