Hello. I thought I saw a reference in the forum to running The Brain from a flash drive but cannot locate it. I coordinate our company's Business Continuity Plan along with other IT projects. Unfortunately, I am based at a client site and do not have rights to install applications.

I run Mac OX 10 at home and Windows XP at work and would love the ability to always have my Brain available to me. Is this possible? Is this allowed?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Please disregard. I have located the thread which details installing The Brain to a USB drive.

I have been doing this for a couple of months now and it is working fine. I use XP at work and OSX at home. I keep the XP program on the USB drive and the OSX version on the computer at home and use the same data base on both. its working fine.

I'm just getting started - is it enough to have the Brain "files" stored on a USB drive?  I have a work laptop and a home desktop and I'd like to be able to update my Brain from both

Amatern, that should work for you.

It does work well - I have PersonalBrain on both my home machine and my work laptop, and I have the data files on my USB drive.  Very handy!
