Is it possible to do a search for a thought including types & tags?

For example I have a thought "John von Neumann" with type "Person" and tag "Dead".

Is there a way for me to search for
Code:
John type: person tags: dead,author,...

I realise I can do this with a report but that's a bit cumbersome.

p.s. Is there any way to turn off the bloody stupid emoji auto-replace? I would much rather be able to type ": something" without contortion, especially in a CODE section!!

1. No

2. I'm not familiar with the emoji Auto replace. That sounds like a function of the OS, not TheBrain notes.

Matt,

You are correct.  Reports, filtered by type/tag and then searching would be the process for finding this content.

Thank you,
Matt

But do you see my point that this is rather long-winded compared to being able to just type "tag:x" into the search field?

Yes, the advanced search shortcuts is a documented feature request for a future build.

Thank you,
Matt
