When loading a brain (e.g. https://webbrain.com/brain/brain/F4A1BA3A-F3BD-9AD7-DABF-F0C39BF06242) with Firefox on OS X, I get distorted / too big thought icons:

Firefox 29.0 (OS X 10.9.2):

Funny enough, the same version of Firefox under Windows does the right thing ...

Safari 7.0.3 (OS X 10.9.2):
Firefox 29.0 (Win7 SP1):
Internet Explorer 11 (Win7 SP1):

I appreciate that this is very likely a Firefox for Mac bug, but I thought you might want to know about it.

Sven,

I just tested this on the latest version of Firefox and Mac OSX and see no issue. May try CMD+Shift+R to force a refresh?

Hi Patrick,

thank you for testing it, this gave me an idea: on my 2007 MacBook Pro 17" Core 2 Duo I get the same result as you, but on my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 13" I get the distorted thought icons (although Safari shows them correctly as pointed out in the previous post).

So the issue must be a combination of Firefox and Retina display. Maybe it has something to do with this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19090864/firefox-retina-support-for-background-images-mediaqueries ... ?
