For the desktop, we are targeting Windows and Mac OS. When you are on another platform or just don't want to install the full client application, we are developing a Web client which will be significantly more performant than the current version. Since we are creating native experiences on each platform, the number of platforms has a direct impact on how long it takes to develop. Taking on smaller platforms like Windows mobile and Linux takes resources away from the other platforms that are used by over 99% of our users, which in turn means delays and/or less functionality. @biffbaxter Thanks for your offer to help with testing. Maybe one day things will change to let us come back to Linux. FYI, with Java we were able to support Linux at very little additional expense. Since we are no longer using Java, continuing to offer new Linux versions is no longer possible. Will the older versions with Linux still be supported, and will these still be able to synchronize with the Cloud services?
