When there are a large number of relations to a single topic, the expanded view can become very cluttered. I think a 3D view (which can be rotated across all axes ) can improve this.
Attached images shows an example cluttered view Untitled-1.jpg

Interesting idea, I have seen one or two programs that can do 3D view, it was really good to see to see my information from another view.

I think that's best done by enthusiasts via API, once it comes out.
Though I wouldn't bother with some kind of 3d view on a display, I'd want to see it in Virtual Reality with HTC Vive, of course.

How to use TheBrain 11 fast (work in progress)

I had mused this a few years ago citing Valence as an example put together by the talented Ben Fry.

I believe it's quite feasible technically and would be appealing aesthetically, it's just a case of cost benefit for consistent use. When TheBrainVR becomes available, then that will put us in a whole new dimension!

I'm sure the 3D view is still on our feature request list.  I'll verify.

Since there's young Tom doing his thing, I dug up a vid of the 3D operating system my friend and I developed last decade. Every pixel was hyperlink addressable and the idea was that we could run any software in any floating window. Probably about 15 years too early for market. Live and learn! Ã°Å¸ËœÅ
