Here are some ideas related to Brainzip
  • My first suggestion is that the tool should be intelligent enough to only add the changed content to an existing brainzip (instead of recreating it everytime).
  • Currently PB "freezes" during the creation of a brainzip. This should be done in the background so I don't lose access to PB.
  • Include an AES or Blowfish module to encrypt Brainzip files

I think the first suggestion will be very useful. I have plenty of attachment in my brain that are not modified over the time, but take a lot of backup space. I have now a 5GB brain.

how long does it take to create a 5GB brainzip?

Yikes... I think you should be asking for all of the above

Good suggestions. In the interim you could brainzip without attachments and use truecrypt (free and open source) to encrypt your volume.

Absolutely I endorse this idea. Even something simple like scheduled creation of brainzip would be very helpful. That would be so easy to set up PB to create automatically brainzip every night for backup safety.
