What does that "Broken files" mean? I can access these attachments with no problem.

I believe these are documents that cause the file content indexer to crash, so they are stored as an ignore list.

But jostber is using the Linux version of PB, which does not index file contents.

I would guess (wildly) that those files are "lost". He's got pointers to them in his brain, but the files are no longer there, hence "broken". Like "broken links".

Those files are still there, accessible as ever.

Are they still listed as broken?

These files are still listed as broken for some reason.

Zenrain is correct. Not sure how they got created in the Linux version however. Anyhow it's no cause for concern - these are just files that will be ignored by the indexer when running under Windows.

Dys, To have the Broken Files entry disappear from your output.log file, try deleting the BrokenFiles.dat file located in your "C:\Program Files\PersonalBrain" directory then rebuild Search Index.

Best regards,
Moe
