I wish to use my Brain as my CRM, sure I have my iCloud contacts but sometimes I store numbers for folk that aren’t important enough to have in my contacts but I’d like to keep a record of, or things like various organisations I might need to call.

Currently in notes on either MacOS or iOS, phone numbers aren’t recognised - where as in Apple Notes, Evernote etc they are.

@mcaton I have already submitted this as a feature request, but some extra +1s from others might knock it up the priority list.

Unless there is an easy work around that I am missing?

My #ThinkFlow System (not “WorkFlow”)  is in 5 parts:

+1 for me. Definitely needed in both iOS and macOS, would be much easier to store contact information in TheBrain without needing a work around.

For now, I've been adding markdown links like this:
Email Address:
[example@example.com](mailto:example@example.com)

Telephone Numbers:
[123-123-1234](tel:1-123-123-1234)

These use Apple's URL scheme for email and telephone numbers, which makes them tappable links to the appropriate function.

But TheBrain recognizing phone numbers and email addresses would be ideal.

Is there any way to make phone numbers work with skype?

Thanks everyone for posting. I'm a +1 for this feature as well. I'll add your votes to our internal documentation for this request.

Thank you,
Matt

David,

Not sure if your Skype request is documented.  I'll append this to the existing request.

I'm not sure how important it is, or how I'd want it to work.
New to using Skype as a phone replacement and I haven't been working on it much.
So more of an inquiry of what's there and how it could work, rather than a request for anything.
