Is there any possibility to add own data fields to a thought? I am a CIO and run quite a lot of big IT projects. Therefore it would be great to have a possibly to create data fields for WBS codes, risk factors etc.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As far as I am aware, the short answer is no, though others have asked for this too, notably Adathome, e.g.,

I was also interested in how to do this in personalbrain but no one seems to have come up with a satisfactory method and  I can't recall the developers promising that it will be implemented, at least not soon. If you check out UserVoice I think it's been asked for there and got a few votes as well. You might like to add yours.

This uservoice request has been entered as is noted as started.
It was discussed if it would make it into the 6.0 beta here.

Harlan's answer was:

We decided not to include this capability yet since it would have delayed the completion of synchronization functionality. It is still planned for a future release.

Windows 7
OSX 10.6.3
Java SE 6
This could also be a part of this requested feature:

It seems like link parameters and directionality as well as more advanced label functionality was a development focus some years ago, but it was then abandoned:

Hi there,

thanks to all of you for such a quick and informative feedback!!! Even if it is not solving my challenge, it is very nice to see that this is one of the forums where it still works as it used to be.

As I am working so many years in the IT industry is really appreciate that some forums are still what they meant to be. Help and neutral answers to a problem. As I am a German guy working in the Czech Republic I missed that for quite some time. So thanks to you. I will post my request as well. BTW: As I see it, the support and customer care or the BrainCompany is anyway outstanding. The video tutorials and all the additional efforts.... Just great.

PS: The product is just amazing anyway ;-)
