Hello

I've just received my new laptop with Windows 7.
It's my first use of 64-bit windosw (I've got XP on all my other machines).

So I'd like to know which Java version is recommended / preferred on a 64-bit platform.

thanks in advance

If you are using a 32-bit application that requires Java you will need Java 32-bit. The opposite applies if the application is a 64-bit application. You can have both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Java installed at the same time.

thanks, yes. I was implicitly asking about the brain.
But since it is a 32-bit app, I will use same java version

thanks

Please keep in mind that the 64-bit version of TheBrain is still unstable if you choose to use it.

i have used it for weeks and it was working correctly until i updated my Windows 8 64-bit and now it's crashinng on each launch of PB 7.0.4.5. By the way i use Outlook 2010 64-bit which needs a PB 64-bit too ...

Any solution ?
