Sometimes, if I want to link a thought as a jump to another thought and select the target from the selection list offered, the selected thought is added as a tag, not a thought!

Is it possible that you have both a thought and a tag with the same name? If so, you must be careful to pick the one wanted.

Yes, I do and I know (I found out the hard way, trying a couple of times).

But that's silly, isn't it?

You can't even tell by looking at the list which is which!

See for yourself. That's my selection list.
The first entry is a tag, the next ones are thoughts.

Actually, the bug was first reported in version 5.0.3.1 by someone else. And just repeatily reported since. It's been broken for a while now.

Temporary workaround is to link it to ALL the dupe thoughts, then prune away the "wrong" ones. You can do this by CONTROL CLICKING all the same named thoughts shown in the selection box of the Create Link dialog.
