Hi, in outline view, my brain is not properly centered - there is a ton of blank space on the right, and the thoughts on the left are cut off (see photo attached). Click image for larger version - Name: Screen_shot_2009-10-18_at_October_18,_2009_4.19.58_PM_(2).png, Views: 100, Size: 245.19 KB

I agree a recenter function for the Outline view would be good.

You can move the thoughts to the right with:

shift-left

Use the shift-arrow keys to move the view in the plex.

You can also click and drag the background of the plex to move everything around.

Great!  However, neither works in normal view.  Example (see photo):
long-named thoughts are shortened with "..." even if there is plenty of room for them.  It seems it would be better if they were only shortened if there was not enough space (see all the space on the left!)

I agree. It's high time Normal View was made expandable laterally. They've proved they can do it for Outline and Expanded View, so it should just be a matter of (not inconsiderable) time and effort. Then, name truncation might go away.

However, if you experiment with Expanded View, you will see that Thoughts seem to be truncated even more than in Normal View, needlessly so, IMO.
