When a brain has several hundred duplicate thoughts, is it possible to consolidate these duplicates automatically? By 'consolidate' I mean: combine duplicates in one thought, while keeping all the attachments and settings of each individual thought.

Of course, some conflicts arise with duplicate or conflicting attachments or settings. The resolution of such conflicts could be by setting priorities by date, size, type, etc.

No, this is not possible at this time. You would have to identify them via the Duplicate Names report and delete/update the one you want to keep manually,.
