Every so often without apparent reason the tab bar simply disappears when I switch from one thought to another. To get it back, I have to close and restart TheBrain.

Just curious:
  • Have you ever run into this problem with the content area (notes & attachments) in the vertical position beside the plex?
  • Or do you only keep the content area in the horizontal position below the plex?
FYI, I'm not suggesting or recommending that you change your layout. Just wondering about the scope of the bug.

I can't tell. I'm only using the horizontal layout. There this bug occurs quite frequently.

Thanks for your prompt feedback, Rengel.

Since I only use the vertical layout, and I haven't run into this particular issue yet, I was just curious if position might be a factor in looking for a resolution.

Reinhard,

The next time you DO see the content area correctly, can you right click and share a screenshot of your settings?  This may help us replicate.

Thank you,

I just tried: Even if switch from horizontal to vertical layout, the tab bar still isn't shown.

Reinhard,

I wouldn't think that this has anything to do with the German OS you mentioned in a previous post, but the, I'm seeing a lot of anomalies that we are simply unable to replicate.  But I would imagine that this issue would be a bit more widespread if this were the cause as we have many German users.

Let's try this, can you replicate the color loss in pinned Thought Types that was previously discussed and send us a copy of your Output.log file (send to support@thebrain.com rather than posting here) . Let's see if anything peculiar is popping up.

Thanks,
Matt
