55 hours later and it's 116.9 % done... interesting

The last 3 hours it seem to really kick in and do something.

Hello All,

I have double-checked with our engineers on this and they have informed that there is no way around this process.

The reason this fix was implemented is for those users that were having very long sync times and issues. This process will remove all of the redundant information that was being synced and causing syncs to take longer than usual. If you have a large Brain and/or a lot of this redundant information existing in your Brain, this will cause the process to take longer. This process will only run once.

We recommend that you let this process continue and complete without any interruption, however, if you have a Brain that must be accessed, you can simply install the previous version of TheBrain:

When you go back to the latest version: 7.0.3.2, the process should resume where it left off.

Regards,

Thanks for the workaround Patrick. I guess this weekend will be surprisingly good for a camping trip!

I had a duration between 45 and 90 minutes on a brain with 25662 Thoughts and 40260 Links. It is stored on a SSD. (Don't know exactly because I had lunch )

So that's not too bad for this 'medium sized' brain.

But I have to report (in separate posts) several issues with WebBrain that make me very unhappy - just having purchased the 'all in one package'.
... Furthermore I think TheBrain is unique

OK, my main brain of 85k thoughts took 3 hours to update with 7033. Another brain of 2k took 10 minutes.

Not too bad at all in the end.
