After use of PB, the directory ~/PersonalBrain/templates gets deleted, so the next time there are no templates anymore...

My Output.log is attached.

mrduck, Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately the output.log file does not contain any info on what is happening here. Can you confirm that PB is definitely deleting the templates directory.

Try the following:
  1. Uninstall PB.
  2. Install the latest version of PB 5.0.3.8 from our downloads page.
  3. Run PB.
  4. Open the templates folder by selecting Add Attachment > Templates in Properties and Attachments. If you are asked which command to use, key in "usr/bin/nautilus". This should create the templates directory in your case at "/home/meriadoc/.PersonalBrain".
  5. Close PB while keeping the nautilus window open to monitor the directory.
