Shiiko
Hi,

Upon clicking on the thought icon icon in p&a my computer went into the dreaded BSD.   Something like this occurred in an earlier beta version but I discounted it...but not this time.

Thinkpad T42, 1MBRAM, XP, with a new HD about 2 months ago.

The blue screen showed the following error:

bad_pool_header
physical memory dump
stop: 0x00000019
(0x00000020, 0xb5b55000, 0x85b55408, 0x0a810000)

Upon restarting the computer I found the following Windows error:

BCCode : 19     BCP1 : 00000020     BCP2 : 85B55000     BCP3 : 85B55408
BCP4 : 0A810000     OSVer : 5_1_2600     SP : 3_0     Product : 256_1

Upon restarting the computer I found the following Windows error:

EventType : BEX     P1 : svchost.exe     P2 : 5.1.2600.5512     P3 : 48025bc0
P4 : unknown     P5 : 0.0.0.0     P6 : 00000000     P7 : 00c89eec
P8 : c0000005     P9 : 00000008

Hi Shiiko,

It's unlikely this is caused by PB, especially if you can't repeat it. When you clicked on the icon, PB asked Windows to open the attachment. This launched another application... Most likely it is not that other application's fault either. In my experience most BSOD problems are either hardware driver issues, faulty memory, or other hardware problems.

If anyone else is seeing BSOD problems with PB (and not in any other apps), please let us know.
Regards,
-Harlan
