Well, it's ok, the various ways, how we can add thoughts to the selection list.

TB has such a great graphical user interface.
So - why can't we select thoughts in a "graphical" way as well?

I envision holding down a key, e.g. Cmd, or Alt, and dragging a rectangle at any place in the plex. Any thought touched or covered by this rectangle would we added to/removed from the selection list without further ado.

It already works this way. :-) On Mac, hold down the command key and drag over thoughts. The marching ants marquis selects anything within its boundaries. If they're already in the selection list, drag over them similarly to remove them.

ups.

Hadn't my glasses on.
Thx!

[Edit: I know, why I did not find it: I tried Cmd-and-drag, but it seems to be Cmd,-click-hold-and-drag]
