If it's at all possible would be nice if the new Thought-box wouldn't hide other Thoughts, if there's space to go.
And if there isn't it'd be good if it at least wouldn't hide the active Thought, because especially that one might hold relevant info for naming the new Thought.
In this case, I want a Thought for next Saturday. But in the Thought name, I want to write in, how many days I'm old at that point, what date it is and what day of the week. So I need to derive three pieces of information from exactly the Thought I'm hiding. That's a bit much to keep in mind at once.

And then at the end Loom isn't responding to me cancelling the video and I'm confused for four seconds.
Also didn't start on time, so I begin mid sentence. Don't try video recording when slaving internet from your phone, TIL.

Hi David,

So essentially the feature you're asking for is kind of a 'smart thought window', that being the new thought window should know when it is hiding other elements, and thus avoid positioning itself there?

Let me know if I'm missing something
Thanks

That would probably the worse way to do it.
How about making the sibling-Thoughts jump out of the way to the left and right, instead? Or the New Thought Window pushing a Thouhgt down, if it covers it?
It's not terribly important, since I usually blind-type, anyway.
Just something that could be better.

Makes sense to me, I'll go ahead and document that as a feature request.

Thanks
