It is possible to modify headers and footers by editing the CSS files in the export, but updating the export overwrites them with the original.  Of course one can edit the the CSS files in the PB4 program folder, but one won't necessarily want all ones exported brains to share the same modifications, so how about making it so that updating does not overwrite the various template files?

Chris,

The header and footer file are used to export pins and possibly other settings in the future...

If you do not want these files updated, you could set them to read only and then the export will not update them.

I've been experimenting with modifying the various js, css and HTMl template files and making them read-only, but hvae been finding that doing so in some cases makes the export not work.

Can you tell me which of these files in the SiteBrain export folder it is OK to make Read-Only?

headerFooter.css
headerFooter.js
layout.css
plexFooter,html
plexHeader.html
settings.js
settings.txt
main.css
menuBrain.css
