(V9.0.79.0)

I've been getting this message lately when I open one of my V9 imported Brains.

- A data integrity issue has been detected with this brain

It just pops up for a brief second.

There are no messages in the output.log or any error logs generated for it.

Thanks for sharing.  We have a fix for this that should be available soon.

Thanks,

You can safely ignore this message for now. It means that there is a link in your brain that is pointing to a thought that has been deleted. The link should have been deleted also but for some reason was not...

TB9 will eventually include a tool for scanning for issues like this and cleaning them up.

This is due to an issue in your Brain and will continue to be seen until the tool to fix these types of issues has been deployed.

Thank you for the update Pat.  As I previously mentioned, I'm testing with your Brain today and will work on replicating this specific issue. Was there a specific action that was taking place when the error occurred?

Thank you,
Matt

Pat,

I just clarified with engineering that this message is not a cause for concern and will continue to happen until we include a fix to have it removed.  For a quick description of what's happening:
  • You have Thought A connected to Thought B.
  • Thought B gets deleted
  • There is a bit of code referencing a link between A and B (but B isn't there)
The fix will remove this unneeded reference and thus remove the message.

Thanks,
Matt
