Is zooming (scaling) of notes when maximised broken?

Zooming is fine when the panel is sized to normal, but when maximised the note is scaled up (text is bigger) even though the slider is around the same position. And when trying to make the text smaller via the slider, nothing happens.

Notes text scales according to the width of the notes area. If you make notes very wide, the size of the font will go to its maximum size and will not change regardless of the slider position.

Doesn't that make the slider obsolete in that circumstance then?

Seeing the slider is obsolete for all maximised notes on widescreen displays, maybe it makes more sense of an extra saved width (detailed here)?

Interesting point.  I'll certainly document the feedback for further review.

Thanks!
